Fundraising
In order to support our programs at Pomaika'i Elementary we do need to fundraise throughout the year. In the table below you'll find information for ongoing opportunities to support our school. Students who are leaving Pomaika'i are welcome to donate school tee shirts back to the school to be used for other students or school projects. You can drop off clean used tee shirts to the school office. |

Boxtops for EducationPomaika'i Elementary participates in the Boxtops for Education Program. We invite everyone to save boxtops and bundle them in packs of 10, 25, or 50. Place them in a zip-loc bag and turn them in to your child's classroom. Be sure to mark your bag with your child's name and classroom. <Boxtops website> |

Aloha Recycling Our ongoing fundraiser is Aloha Recycling. Located across the street from VIP Cash and Carry in Kahului, Aloha Recycling will give our school 5 cents for each can and bottle that you recycle. When you drop off your cans and bottles be sure to let them know that the credit goes to Pomaika'i Elementary School. |
Printer Cartridges If you have used HP print cartridges you can drop them off at our computer lab for recycling. At this point in time we can ONLY use the HP print cartridges. We use the funds from the recycling to support our technology program and try to keep them from going into the landfill. Laser and inkjet cardridges are both accepted. |

Telephone BooksWe are an official telephone book recycling site, so you can bring your old telephone books to the school office. |
Our new play structure is installed and students have begun using it. We are currently practicing how to use it safely so that nobody gets hurt. Thanks to everyone who helped with fundraising and installation!!!
