We changed the structure of projects this year and classrooms teamed up with the library and the computer lab to design integrative research rpojects. Here are some samples of the work that we did.

2010-2011 Projects at Pomaika'i Elementary
We changed the structure of projects this year and more of the focus was on inroducing new teachers to software and how it might be used in their classrooms. With out Kindergartners, we worke on computer skills within the classroom and coordinated lessons with a unit on the Oceans that students were working on. Here are some samples of the work that we did.

2008-2009 Projects at Pomaika'i Elementary
At Pomaika'i Elementary we look for opportunities to engage our students in integrative, interdisciplinary projects. In 2008-2009 we collaborated between the classroom, library and the computer lab and students had an opportunity to turn their research into multimedia representations of their learning.
